Myths and Legends:
Japanese mythology believes in Shinto and Buddhist traditions as well as folk religion.
Governance:
Japanese government dates back to the early 660 BC and was founded by the first emperor of Japan, Jimmu (660 BC to 585 BCE). Jimmu became the first emperor and emerged into the 6th century AD. When the emperor dies another member of the Yonato clan becomes emperor and so on.
Family Structure:
The Japanese family is based on the line of descent and adoption. Ancestors and offspring are linked together by an idea of ancestry, means relationships based on mere blood inheritance and succession, but also a bond formed between two people.
Key Figures:
A well know historical figure in Japan was Toyotomi Hideyoshi;
Tyotomi Hideyoshi was a superior and great name in ancient Japan, and still is to this day. He was a warrior, General, and politician of the Sengoku period.
